Resellers on GeM
PART A: Security Deposit Overview
Amount: A one-time Security Deposit of ₹10,000 shall be collected from prospective resellers/dealers seeking authorization from Point Blank Range Pvt. Ltd. (hereafter referred to as “Point Blank”) to represent and sell its products on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) platform.
Advance Adjustment:
This deposit will be treated as a partial advance against future orders and shall be adjusted in 2 parts against the first two purchase orders received by the reseller from GeM.
Purpose:
To ensure seriousness and commitment from resellers.
To protect OEM interests in terms of pricing integrity, brand exclusivity, and service quality.
To streamline authorized reseller /dealers engagement.
PART B: Refund & Exit Policy
Non-Refundable Clause:
The security deposit is non-refundable under normal business conditions.
Voluntary Exit Clause:
If the reseller voluntarily opts to discontinue working with Point Blank, the following will apply:
A processing fee of 25% shall be deducted on the Full Amount of Security Deposit.
The remaining balance will be refunded within 5–7 business days, subject to proper bank and business account verifications.
Termination Due to Violation:
Any breach of terms or unethical practices by the reseller (e.g., violation of exclusivity, unauthorized branding, or misrepresentation) will result in forfeiture of the full deposit amount.
PART C: Reseller Undertaking Requirements
The reseller must agree to the following conditions before
authorization:
Exclusivity:
The authorized reseller shall not:
List or sell any other brand products under the authorization given by Point Blank on GeM.
Represent any other OEM / Brand using the authorization provided by Point Blank.
Spare & Repair Policy:
The reseller must not use or supply spare parts of any third-party or non-OEM /OEM Brands for servicing or repairing Point Blank products.
No Misuse of Authorization:
The reseller must not use Point Blank’s authorization for:
Listing unrelated or counterfeit products.
Claiming technical capabilities or products that Point Blank does not manufacture or support.
Listing Unlawful Products, etc.
Legal Undertaking:
A signed undertaking must be submitted digitally or physically by the authorized signatory, binding the company to adhere to these rules throughout the term of authorization.
PART D: OEM Guidelines for Secure Operations on GeM
To maintain the integrity and security of Point Blank’s
presence on GeM, the following guidelines are mandatory:
Verification & Documentation:
All resellers must submit valid business registration form mentioning GST, and proof of address , name , phone number , email address , etc.
Authorization shall be granted only after due diligence by the OEM and after security fees depsoit.
Pricing Control:
OEM reserves the right to monitor and standardize pricing of listed products to maintain fair market practices on GeM.
Resellers must seek OEM approval before offering discounts or promotional pricing.
Order Fulfilment Standards:
Resellers must ensure that delivery timelines, packaging, and product specifications match those provided by Point Blank.
Any deviation must be pre-approved.
Support & Communication:
Point Blank shall provide product literature, pricing, images, and specifications to authorized resellers.
Resellers are expected to promptly relay customer feedback, complaints, or service requests to the OEM.
De-authorization & Blacklisting:
Point Blank reserves the right to terminate authorization and blacklist the reseller from future association in case of non-compliance, misrepresentation, or malpractice.
